What a rally day.
The day was filled with blood sweat and tears...
Ok maybe not so many tears and no blood, but there was a lot of sweat.
It was a really warm day that brought a good turn out. The Canberra Show team had a chance to be put through their pases while others had some jumping pratice and some new little members had a great time with some of the men of Pony club.
The club also had some people from the cross country team come and talk about how their sport and demonistrate how you can check the fitness of your horse during a cross country event.
I hope all had a great day and i can't wait until out next adventure.

December Rally day
The December rally day was a bit of a wash out in more ways than one. The weather gods didnt look at us in a posibtive light and opened up the heavens to give us a spot of rain and so the day was made a no horse day.
When it did stop the sun came out and gave the members the opportunity to have water fights and I was there to capture the moments.
We also had a special visitor from Santa.

November Rally day
WOW where has the year gone..... Its almost Christmas time again..
We had another wonderfull rally day with what was some good pratice for our team that will be attending the Canberra Royal Show next year and must add it was a fantastic day to be sitting under the shade of an old gum tree, with a nice cool breeze blowing.

Well what a cold and windy day we had for this months rally day, however given that it was also a long weekend and most people leave Canberra we still had a good turn out.

Dec Rally day photos
I have uploaded the photos from our last rally day and I must say in terms of the grass being green, the difference between last year and this year was amazing. Last year it was 35+ degrees and the ground was blown dry, this year I could actually see green grass. :)
For the end of year games, this year we had a giant ball that the members could use their horses to kick around the paddock. Check it out!

Kambah Pony Club Gymkhana
I must say it was a fantastic day at our Gymkhana. It was not only a great turn out but the weather was fantastic.
I managed to take a heap of photos and I hope that I captured at least one photo of everyone that was there.
Because of the amount of photos I have changed the format in which you can view them.
The first is in a Slideshow so you can see the day unfold through my eyes, it also means that you don't have to push next 300 times. :)

Sept Rally day
Have a look at our latest photos from our Sept rally day.
WOW!!! What a rally day we had in March 2010.
It was a fantastic day filled with lots of riding and a special guest.
Once again the club has shown that it is not only about how to ride, but also how you can care for your horse and general horsemanship.
On the rally day we had a visit from a horse dentist that explained what exactly a horse dentist does, along with the tools, followed up with a demo.
The day started early at 8:30 am and finished around 4:00 pm. It was a very full day which every one enjoyed.

Christmas Rally Day. The last rally day of 2009 was themed as our Christmas dress-up day.
Both riders and horses showed up dressed to impressed and we all had a fantastic day that was finished off with a good old egg fight. :)
